Another thing to keep in mind is when people are entertained, they retain information better. As a presentation consultant, I'm always looking for new and interesting ways to help people understand, absorb, and use the training I give them. For the life of me, I wasn't tracking with how much "love" was being strewn around out there in social media land. OK, also want to report that my unofficial Facebook coach was instructing me to be funny, short, clever on my info page (clearly I couldn't hold the guise after my first line entry). You are so right about snark and cleverness (is that code for immature, shallow?). As if that's all there were, the only way to express oneself. That is so not me.
